Deliberate Gibberishnichised
my tuberose & my wisteria
  • my tuberose

    the new moon rose

    I closed my eyes

    or was I blinded

    when my tuberose bloomed

your petals landed on my shoulder,

    my arms, my elbows,

    my wrists, my fingers

    I shivered

your pollen was all over my hair

    your smell sweetened my lungs

    I was in despair

    trying to swallow the air

as your nectar has yet on my tongue

    my wisteria

    the full moon rose

    I chose to leave

a wisteria sang me to sleep

I was fumigated by her sweet song

    I forgot my frozen feet

before I asked her to play it on repeat

I asked myself to put down the empty luggage

then my sore hands reminded me of the weight

while I was breathing in the same song

bright moonlight showed me the landscape

a daffodil told me to not hesitate

I realised it wasn’t the same gate

    that gave up on me
