You were thinking of what you will make for dinner when you reached the fruit section.

You saw that there was only one melon left in the crate. You've been craving for this juicy round fruit since the start of the week, so you pushed your cart fast, afraid that you might miss a chance to buy it.

An anonymous hand and yours grabbed the last melon at the same time. You startled but you will not admit your defeat easily.

'Excuse me,' you called for the staff that was nearby without taking your hand off the fruit. 'Is this really the last one. Do you have some more in stock?'

'I'll go check. Please wait for a moment.'

When the girl rushed off, you turned your head back to the owner of the other hand that was still on the melon too.

'What will we do if there's no more melon?' You asked. You thought the need to feed your hunger gave you courage to talk to stranger with this confidence.

'I'm not sure. Which of us touched it first? We both would think that we're first ourselves right?'

You had continued an eye-battle with him for a while when the same staff girl ran towards the two of you with a bad news.
