  • 'Ouch!'

'Sorry! I didn't see you coming.'

    'It's okay. My fault.'

You just bumped with someone and fell down, on your butt. But you were too hurry to care a little hurt. So you grabbed your things, murmured an apology and rushed off.

You realized after a long day of work that you forgot to turn off an air-condition in your room. You were twelve hours away from apartment, twelve! That would cost you a lot and you were on this state of pinch and scrape to save money.

Looks like you will have to sleep with an open window tonight.

You almost ran and the street packed with people didn't help you went any faster. So you chose to use a shortcut you rarely use because it's too desert to your liking (you admitted that you're a little bit of paranoid).

Halfway through the alley, you felt someone walking after you, or so you thought that someone was stalking you. You didn't feel so secure. In fact, you were so scared you almost scream.

You couldn't take the tension and ran, trying to reach your building as soon as possible. That's when you tripped and fell for the second time of the day.

'Ow!' You panicked. This time your right ankle seem to compromise to the pain. The shadow continued to come closer to you. You closed your eyes and  wailed.

'Please don't kill me! You can take my money but spare me!'

No answer, no further actions at all.

You opened your eyes and saw a puzzle look on a stranger's face. You stared back with the same expression.

'Oh..,' you knew in the instant moment that you misunderstood something.

'Did I scared you? I'm sorry, but you dropped this a while ago when we ran into each other.

He stretched out his hand, your set of keys is there.

'Oh..,' you couldn't talk due to the embarrassment. Your face heated up.

'Here, let me help you getting up. I think your ankle is sprained.'

'Thank you,' you finally said when you can wobbled up on your feet.

'Are you alright? Can you go home by yourself.'

'Yeah, maybe slowly but I can.'

'I can help you get there. I'm in no hurry anyway.'

'Oh don't be. You're in a problem enough going all the way to give me back my keys.'

'It's a little secluded byway. There could be a danger for injured people like you. Let me help.'

'Well. I'm really appreciate your help.'

You reached your room safe and sound, plus a kind stranger's number. He said this when he gave you his number.

'In case you're too hurt to walk and want someone to pick you up tomorrow.'

Would you call him or not?
