Since I've translated songs from English to Thai on Minimore, I decided to translated vice versa as well because I've just realised that not only the Thais want to know the meaning of English songs/ songs written in English, but also the Englishes want to know the meaning of Thai songs! Basically, I haven't listened to Thai music for a while due to my stereotype of them, they're talking just about love and the melody is the same, but I incidentally heard this song while karaoke-ing with friends and I suddenly loved it! The melody is unique and smooth that never happened in Thai song frequently. So I chose this song, Still, to share the meaning with you.
Still is talking about the feeling that you've been breaking up with your loved one for a while and you're 'still' waiting for him/ her to come back even though you know it's impossible. Bowkylion said in an interview that she wrote this song dedicated to her mom who already passed away but she's still finding a miracle to meet he mom again. Last but not least, I really like that she linguistically played in words 'Khong-kha' which refers to Ganges river in Thai, and also means 'still'. She combined these two components to represent the tears shedding on her face and the feeling of waiting someone to come back.
