Former US President Donald Trump's new social media Truth Social is said to have similarities with Twitter.
Truth Social is reported to be released on Monday (21/2) and marks the 'awakening' of Donald Trump into the realm of social media.

The launch would restore Trump's presence on social media more than a year after he was banned from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube following the January 6, 2021, riots at the US Capitol by his supporters.
Trump was banned on these platforms for being accused of posting messages that incited violence and caused riots.
Led by former US Republican Representative Devin Nunes, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the venture behind Truth Social, will join forces with technology companies positioning themselves as defenders of free speech.
They hope to attract users who have the view 'their voice is being held back by platforms like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.'
"This week we will start launching on the Apple App Store. It will be great, because we will get more people who will be on the platform," said Nunes in his appearance on Fox News, Sunday (20/12).
Despite big ambitions, data shows that so far no company, including Twitter competitors Gettr and Parler and video site Rumble, has come close to matching the popularity of these mainstream platforms.
