Pairing: Max/Tul
AU – in which Tul is an English major student.

“What are you doing?”

“Reading” he says but his eyes are still glued to a textbook in front of him.

“You have been reading for 3 straight hours, you need a break.”

“I have a quiz on Monday.”

“It’s just one of those 7 quizzes that you only need 6 of them.”

“I didn’t do well last time, I need to step up my game.”

“You are an excellent student, you will do well this time but now you NEED A BREAK.”

His tone sounds much sharper. It seems like if he doesn’t stop reading sooner then the book will be thrown out instead.

“Why are you so stressed lately?” This time, his voice softens. 

“I feel like I am not good enough.”

“You are not just good, you are great.”

“You said that because you love me.”

“but that doesn’t make it less true anyway,

You are great, baby.”
