After choosing herself at the altar in the season two finale of Love Is Blind, Deepti's brother penned a letter to Deepti’s former fiancé, calling him a "
loser” who should “stay the f--k away."
This story contains spoilers for the Love Is Blind season two finale.
The brother of Love is Blind star Deepti Vempati would like to share a bit of advice with his sister's ex-fiancé Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee.
Following the season two finale of the Netflix dating show, Deepti's brother Sunny and his partner Hina Merchant Vempati took a moment to stand up for his reality star sibling by sharing a joint post on Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 27.
Prior to the final episode, Deepti had been engaged to Shake but declined to marry him after he made multiple remarks about her appearance throughout the series, powerfully choosing herself instead.
"Now normally I don't get involved in drama but I'mma defend my sister here: ‘Shake', bruh, you're a loser," the couple wrote. "You minimized my sister's life by making some awful and cringeworthy comments about her."

The pair also shared that they believed the blame lie solely on Shake and his actions, not any deceptive editing of the show.
"In spite of your best efforts to pretend this was all fictional and it was because of the ‘edit', no one forced you to say those words," they explained. "We welcomed you into our home, and you saw it as an opportunity for clout; so forgive me if I'm not sympathetic towards you and the hate you're receiving."
They also shared a sweet message for Deepti, too. "Deepu, we are SO incredibly proud of you!" they wrote. "We've witnessed you grow into such an incredible and beautiful woman."
The pair praised her for inspiring viewers to realize their "self worth" and demand "what they deserve and settle for nothing less" by refusing to marry Shake, who confessed to his mother onscreen that he wasn't sexually drawn to Deepti, despite proposing to her.
"We wish you didn't pick that [clown emoji] but despite his childishness, you carried yourself with grace and continued to see the good in people," her family continued. "We're so damn proud to call you our baby sister, and know we're there for you always."
Sharing the post on her Instagram Story, Deepti wrote, "The love and support from my family is unmatched." She also added a white heart emoji.
Make sure you're all brushed up on your Love Is Blind knowledge ahead of the show's upcoming reunion on Friday, Mar. 4.
Euphoria Kills Off Fan-Favorite Character in HBO Finale and Twitter Is Angry
Euphoria's season two finale saw the aftermath of Lexi's school play, Rue making amends and a character be killed in a haze of gunfire.
Warning: This story contains spoilers for the Euphoria finale.
We always knew this day would come.
Ashtray (Javon Walton) may be the younger one of the two, but his size has never stopped him from protecting Fezco (Angus Cloud). It's a recurring theme in Euphoria: Fezco finds himself at odds with some meathead, like Cal (Eric Dane), and Ash steps in with gun/knife in hand to ward off the attack.
And normally, Fez is able to stop him before it goes too far. But this time, in the season two finale, Ash didn't even wait to get the go-ahead from Fez. He simply shoved a knife in Custer's (Tyler Chase) throat before anyone could stop him.
As they prepare for the police to invade their apartment, Fez insists that he has to take the blame but, again, it's too late. As police in SWAT gear enter the apartment, Ash locks himself in the bathroom with a ton of ammo, before shooting blindly and wounding Fez in the process.
The police are left with no option but to kill Ash as Fez—and Twitter—watched in anguish.
This was just one of the many emotional scenes in the finale, though there are some lighter moments.
Notably, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) gets the s--t beat out of her by Maddy (Alexa Demie) after she threw a fit and yelled at Lexi (Maude Apatow) in front of the entire school. Maddy basically chased Cassie off the stage, with Kat (Barbie Ferreira) and Barbara "BB" Brooks a.k.a Vape Girl (Sophia Rose Wilson) rallying her on.
As Maddy gets her payback, so does Nate (Jacob Elordi). For one reason or another, he decided that he should turn Cal in to the police for being a creep.
All in all, we have to commend Lexi for putting on a play that was Broadway quality. But we can't necessarily blame Cassie for being pissed that she included that carousel scene. Imagine your sister putting on a school play featuring one of your most embarrassing and traumatizing moments, as if it was worth reenacting for everyone to see. It's psychotic.
The only real highlight of the finale was that Rue stayed sober for the rest of the school year.
And Twitter, for once, agreed!
Michael Keaton Delivers Emotional Tribute to His Late Nephew at the 2022 SAG Awards
Michael Keaton got emotional at the end of his speech while talking about his nephew, who died in 2016, when he accepted the SAG Award for his performance in Dopesick.
The 70-year-old actor won the Actor for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for his performance in Dopesick. The Hulu series is based on the book of the same name and chronicles the country's opioid crisis, an issue that is deeply personal for Keaton.
Keaton's nephew, also named Michael, died in 2016 following an accidental overdose of heroin and fentanyl, and the Oscar winner got emotional at the end of his speech over his devastating loss.
"Given the subject matter, this is for my nephew, Michael, and my sister, Pam," Keaton said while trying to hold back tears. "I lost Michael...and it hurts. To my sister Pam, thanks."
Earlier in Keaton's speech, he spoke about the power of a project like Dopesick and the awareness it can bring to issues such as addiction.
"I have a job where I can be part of a production that actually can spawn thought, conversation, actual change," Keaton said. "Who gets to have that job? Seriously? How fortunate am I that good can come from something I do just because I learn to become an actor? There's massive inequity in the world. In Dopesick, when you talk about addiction, the way to heal the problem is to accept that you have a problem. Not our country. The entire world. Economically, racially, socially, financially. There's massive inequity in the world. There just is. There's fair, and there's unfair. There's not a lot of room in between."
In Dopesick, Keaton plays a doctor in a coal-mining town overwhelmed by OxyContin and in an interview with USA Today in October 2021, Keaton admitted that it wasn't an easy decision to join the show.
"If the writing wasn't good and the quality of the people involved wasn't as high, I can't guarantee that I'd have done it," the actor said, "just based on losing Michael."
Showrunner Danny Strong revealed to Metro UK that Keaton was the only actor they had in mind for the role.
"Michael was passionate about the subject matter because his nephew had passed away from an overdose," Strong said. "So it was something he was personally connected to, as well. So yeah, we offered him the role and he accepted."
