Reading blog 2 : How to Win Friends and Influence People
  • I have chosen the book how to win friend and influence people by Dale Carnegie. This book is about self-searching and learn from your attitude before going to have a conversation with other people. In the book the author use psychology theory to explain why we need to do something to win someone heart and can receive what we want from others. And I think this issue is very important for every body especially communicator because before we will going to talk or communicate with others we need to know what we want or who are you before. In communication arts theory we recognize this knowledge as a Intrapersonal communication.

    The reason I chose this book because sometime I feel like myself lack of interaction with other people both the new people or the old friends of sometime I feel uncomfortable when I need to start conversation even though I recognize myself as a extrovert but I always feel awkward when I need to talk to people so I want to receive a knowledge or something that I will bring it to use in my daily life. And when I read this book just 2-3 units. I found out that the most important key to communicate and influence someone is willing to communicate because if you show your genuine message it will easy to input to someone feeling and they will trust you because you send the real thing to them too.

    While reading this article, I mainly use one reading strategy which is a global reading strategy because I try to read overall of the book and choose too look the detail on some unit that I think it will solve problem on my mind quickly.
